In the context of the event series "Digital Transformation" at the VDI Forum, our CEO Jürgen Stumpp discussed application ideas for Machine Learning technologies in logistics with members of the Association of German Engineers (VDI) and students of the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences.
Competitiveness is one of the cornerstones for a successful company. New technologies are an opportunity to build or expand one's competitiveness. Unlike in past decades, artificial intelligence is now ripe for practical use. Machine Learning technologies offer growth-oriented companies new opportunities to modernize operational processes.
The mission of AMAI GmbH's Data Science Team is to provide consulting, development and support services to European companies. Well-known companies such as Deutsche Telekom, Dachser or Telefonica trust in our know-how. Especially in industries with large economies of scale, as is common in logistics, machine learning systems can be used to achieve great leverage. In the supply chain shown depicted below, some exemplary AI technologies are listed.
In the presentation "State of AI - AI application ideas in logistics" we will present new, economically interesting ideas in addition to the current, successfully used applications. In particular, we will address our current project "Das Perfekte Paket" (engl. The Perfect Package), which is funded by the AI Innovation Competition of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labor and Tourism of the State of Baden-Württemberg.
