At the 2nd AI Day, companies from the region met on May 29, 2019 in the rooms of the Karlsruhe Chamber of Industry and Commerce for presentations and subsequent buffet networking. AMAI GmbH was also present with a contribution by our managing director Dr. Jürgen Stumpp on the topic of "Current possibilities of artificial intelligence".

After the welcome by Dr. Guido Glania, CEO of the IHK Karlsruhe, and Matthias Hornberger, CEO of the CyberForum e. V., the expert presentations from the companies started. Among other things, they dealt with use cases and areas of application for artificial intelligence and machine learning, for example, for the autonomous supply chain or support for people in need of care.

The Karlsruhe technology region is considered one of the most important AI locations in Germany. Therefore, the AI Day was initiated by its organizers, the de:Hub for Applied Artificial Intelligence, the Innovation Alliance, the Digital Innovation Center DIZ and the Karlsruhe Chamber of Commerce and Industry, to connect companies and research.
